JEFF MEYERHOFER

President, UnitedHealthcare Bundled Payment Solutions

Jeff Meyerhofer leads the UnitedHealthcare Bundled Payment Solutions organization focused on the transition from traditional payment strategies to value based. UnitedHealthcare Bundled Payment Solutions supports the bundled payment models of health care providers, including those participating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced (BPCI Advanced) program, with risk, data science and analytics, technology and care navigation.

Previous to working in UnitedHealth Group Bundled Payments, Jeff was an Senior Vice President in UnitedHealthcares Specialty Benefits area where he lead Network Advancement, Provider facing Operations and Servicing, Dental Systems and Technology, Government Operations and Portfolio Management.

Prior to his role in Specialty Benefits, Meyerhofer led all UnitedHealth Group provider facing technology and Software as a Service within Optum Technology, a value stream within Administrative Competitiveness (UHG Corporate), drove Mergers and Acquisition Integration and helped build the UHC Medicare and Retirement Group Retiree Operational area. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Meyerhofer spent over 10 years in various leadership positions in Capital Markets for GMAC, a former division of General Motors.

Meyerhofer holds a bachelors degree from Minnesota State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, both with a finance concentration. Meyerhofer also completed a Policy Fellowship at the University of Minnesota created by former Vice President Walter Mondale.

He serves on the College of Business Advisory board for Minnesota State University, sat on the NYU College of Dentistry Advisory Board and volunteers for the United Healthcare Children’s Foundation. Mr. Meyerhofer helped to create the annual UHCCF Century Cycling Ride resulting in the creation of a Riders Series in 5 locations, hundreds of participants and raising over $4M for the foundation over 7 years.

Meyerhofer lives in Edina, MN with his wife and two children.
